2. This Dark Day
by Eric Radoux
I found a man atop the Manitoba Causeway
He had a plan to leave the planet on this dark day
Nowhere at all upon us all if I did not impede his fall
To cast a pallor on this already dark day
I told him, "Hey man, whatchoo say about maybe comin' down?
You walk away, I'll keep you safe, we'll have a bite to eat downtown"
He didn't move, he'd make me lose if it was all he'd ever do
So he played cool and ruminated on this dark day
My second try to save his life was to feed him a vacant lie
I told him time would make things right if he would only wait and smile
On this dark day
"Well, that's enough," he said, "You've ruffled my poor feathers to the bone
And with your cuff to truth you've puffed up what you've never really known"
He would have flown but now he'd thrown himself upon the cars below
And now I don't think I will know what could have been on this dark day
3. I'm Gonna Find It
by Eric Radoux
Give me time
Give me patience
Give me something
I can see
You know
I'm not stupid
And I just want
To believe
That there's something
Here beside me
Here beside me
Be my friend
Give me time
Give me patience
Give me something
I can see

11. If I Found You
by Eric Radoux
I'm not a person of manners or grace
But now is the time for amends
I've got a problem with words face to face
That's how all of them end
Stop the bus
Stop the bus
I have found the one I love
Been riding this trainwreck for too many years
You could help me get off
Didn't want to be saved from this memory
Thought I liked being lost
And if I saw you on a park bench
I'd tell myself it's not the time
I would walk on in my loneliness
Thinking I would be fine
I saw you again on my way home
On the curb to the right
Your hair was blowing in your eyes
As you waited for the light
And I remembered all those evenings
That I'd spent on my own
I pulled the wire that stopped me moving
I will not be alone
